    Thank you for your interest in the C Yarn Hut Amigurumi Workshop. Allow me to introduce myself.

    Hello, I’m Clara, the founder of C Yarn Hut and your guide to crochet. Although I don’t have a formal background in art, it’s a passion of mine. By day, I work as a dental assistant, but by night, I’m a dedicated crafter. My journey into knitting began with lessons from my mother, and over time, I’ve delved into crocheting and discovering new patterns. Crocheting may be a part-time endeavor, but my passion for crafting runs deep. I regularly take part in 4 to 6 craft shows across Vancouver and Toronto, and my creations are also available in various retail stores

    Ok, that’s all about me. Let’s go through the detail you would like to know …

    Learning style:

    • One on One.
    • What you will learn –  Basic stitches, how to read the pattern in English format and Japan chart.
    • 4 or 6 lessons for beginner workshop, your choice. (Min. 4 lessons)

    Age range:

    • 10+

    Date and Time:

    • Workshops are closed from October to December each year and will resume in January.  To join the waiting list, please email cyarnhut@gmail.com.
    • Sunday (10:00am – 7:30pm)
    • Selected weekdays (public holidays)
    • Tuesday night workshops open on demand (7:00pm /7:30pm – 9:00pm), for adult only.  (April – Aug)

    Location:

    • Oak Street Studio, 8930 Oak Street, Vancouver BC, V6P 2B7

    Price:

    • Age 11-15: $180 (4 lessons) or $270 for a completed workshop (6 lessons). All prices do not include a DIY Kit. 60 min per lesson.
    • Age 16+ : $200 (4 lessons) or $600 for a completed workshop (6 lessons). All prices do not include a DIY Kit 90 min per lesson.
    • DIY Kit: $30-40, you can pick the one you like in the first lesson.

    Materials:

    • The C Yarn Hut DIY Kit includes all the essentials, and I will supply the yarn and crochet hook for practice. Additionally, you’ll receive a C Yarn Hut tote to transport your DIY Kit project and the notes for each lesson.
    • If you already have a pattern in mind, you can purchase the yarn and hook from a craft store. I am ready to offer guidance on where to find the materials you require.

    Primary goal:

    • You can complete a finished amigurumi.
