Hello, I’m Clara, the founder of C Yarn Hut and your guide to crochet. Although I don’t have a formal background in art, it’s a passion of mine. By day, I work as a dental assistant, but by night, I’m a dedicated crafter. My journey into knitting began with lessons from my mother, and over time, I’ve delved into crocheting and discovering new patterns. Crocheting may be a part-time endeavor, but my passion for crafting runs deep. I regularly take part in 4 to 6 craft shows across Vancouver and Toronto, and my creations are also available in various retail stores

Learning style:
- One on One, and Semi-Private lessons (2 students)
- What you will learn – Basic stitches, how to read the pattern in English format and Japan chart.
- 4 or 6 lessons for beginner workshop, your choice. (Min. 4 lessons)
Age range:
- 10+
Date and Time:
- Sunday (10:30am – 7:30pm)
- Selected weekdays (public holidays)
- Tuesday, Wednesday night (7:00pm – 8:30pm), open on depends from March – September (adult only). Please contact us for details.

Price: (All prices do not included a DIY kit.)
- One-on-One (Age 10-15): $180 (4 lessons) or $270 for a completed workshop (6 lessons). 60 min per lesson.
- One-on-One (Age 16+) : $200 (4 lessons) or $300 for a completed workshop (6 lessons). 90 min per lesson.
- Semi-Private Kids (Age 10-15): $360 (4 lessons) or $540 (6 lessons). 90 min per lesson.
- Semi-Private Adults(Age 16+): $400 (4 lessons) or $600 (6 lessons). 120 min per lesson.
- Semi-Private 1 Kid + 1 Adult: $380 (4 lessons) or $570 (6 lessons). 120 min per lesson.
- DIY Kit: $30-45, you can purchase the one you like from C Yarn Hut or bring your own.
Materials:
- The C Yarn Hut DIY Kit includes all the essentials, and I will supply the yarn and crochet hook for practice. Additionally, you’ll receive a C Yarn Hut tote to transport your DIY Kit project and the notes for each lesson.
- If you already have a pattern in mind, you can purchase the yarn and hook from a craft store. I am ready to offer guidance on where to find the materials you require.
Primary goal:
- You can complete a finished amigurumi.
